Love before First Sight!
God loved us long before we loved Him.
Hollywood movie producers know that the romantic notion of "love at first sight" makes for a good love story. In real life, however, it is nothing more than "attraction at first sight." Real love requires knowing a person.
God didn't love us at first sight, because He actually loved us long before we were bron. In fact, He loved us before He created the world. Since before the beginning of time, God knew all about us. He has known all along the kind of person we would be. Even though He has known forever all of our weaknesses He has loved us from then until now.
Don't ever think that God loves us because we have decided to love Him. Our love definitely pleases Him, but He is not reciprocating our affection. God has been loving us and awaiting our affection throughout history. That is what a love story should be.
